The Halesworth and Holton Healthy Neighbourhood includes all the commercial and voluntary interests on the site which includes Castlemeadow Care now they have bought the land for the nursing home, Badger Building who will be building houses on the Harrison's Lane site, Halesworth Community Sport and Leisure providing other key sports facilities, Suffolk New College On The Coast offering key educational facilities and The Apollo youth club. It is imperative that we all work together to make our respect resources work best for the community. These partnerships and relationships will develop over time as the Campus sports facilities emerge and become operational.
As our plans progress, we will work with other site owners to ensure connectivity and cohesion across the whole site.
Our preferred provider for the sports facilities is Everyone Active. Although this will be a clear contractual arrangement to provide the facilities, we aim to work in partnership to ensure the sports facilities can be used to maximum benefit.
As the sports facilities become available, other partnerships will develop - with volunteers, with health providers, with artists, with sports clubs. When everything is up and running there will be many opportunities for people to get involved and engaged.
